Here is a little fanart. I was going to sumitt it to the Gargoyles Monthly Contest, but I was a day late and a dollar short. So it's just here for you to ooogle and pick at.

If you haven't seen Disney's Gargoyles, this is the female love interest, Elisa Maza. In the episode Mirror she turns into a gargoyle. This is my way of showing both her human and gargoyle form.

I like this piece- it's very Dizney-esque.
I think you really captured Elisa's look very well- especially the eyes and the skin tone. Also, as someone else pointed out, the delicate hands.

Oh, thats so kewel! I like what shes wearing; she loks pretty good in it! Well, she looks better in tha than her tucked in red t-shirt *shudder* I love thse delicate Disney hands. I like how they are both sitting facing the watcher, as if they were talking about simething girly and secret and got interuptued. it's very cute! Also, I lik ehow its the doppleganger. I guess whichever one' here is the good one will die or somethign now that theyve met.

Wonderful job. Eliza is one of my fave characters from the show so its nice to see some fanart of her.
As for the background, I dunno about your other pics, but in this one the background works. Its a close up of Eliza and a detialed background woulda taken away from the main focus, I think.

Honestly, I think the only thing that needs work is the light source coz I could tell it was a rooftop. Or at least, not a sidewalk.

One of my favorite MGC pieces never got submitted because four days before the deadline I accidentally put the wacom pen into a cup of tea instead of a mug of pens. So I didn't submit on time, and worked on it a week later, after the deadline, and added all sorts of details that wouldn't have been there if I had to finish by deadline, and I'm much happier with the piece now.
It's this one. Neither the cloud/rose designs at the top, nor the blue fabric in the bottom-left corner would have been there. So I'm very happy I didn't meet that deadline.
The same goes for your piece. It is very elegant. I wish you could have submitted it as it is, but it was really unfinished at the time of the deadline, I like it enough that I'm glad you didn't submit

the odd thing was that my wacom pen dried for about a week (during which the deadline passed) and then worked again, perfectly well! i guess since there aren't any electrical or moving parts in it, it makes sort of sense... but it's the only time some precious object of mine survived a bath like that. half a year ago, I watered by cellphone along with my plants... and the poor thing stopped working entirely. but the wacom just dried and went back to working as if nothing happened! ^_^
