So hey ! I don't actually draw a lot of fanart outside of pony stuff, but you know what ? I'm a huge Satoshi Kon fan.
Like, fuck, this guy was such an inspiration for me. His work was really an important part of my development as a person, and I can't say how sad I was when I heard he died.
I was only 10, but it was still devastating. I watched Perfect Blue for the first time when I was like 7, because I heard it was a horror film and I wanted to act like a grown up and stuff. His movies were always really important to me and helped me develop my critical sense.
And then there's Paranoia Agent.
I never cared much for Paranoia Agent. I was never into police stuff, and from what I was told I thought I wouldn't like it. I was 16 when I watched it for the first time, and I now consider it one of my favorite anime of all times. I don't know what it is but it never left my mind, I'm so inspired by what it did and the way it tells its story. It has an engaging plot, nearly perfect visuals, a great soundtrack... I can never praise it enough, really.
I recently re-watched it with my boyfriend, because he's also a huge fan, so that's why I decided to draw Maromi !
