Debuting in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, the reptilian warrior, Lizalfos, was always cool. Though they sat out in the Wind Waker, they came back with very frequent appearances in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. As is true for most things Zelda in my mind, these guys were most memorable in Ocarina of Time, where these guys were quick, agile and made those awesome noises. They may have lost most of their might since Zelda II (those ones throwing stones over the fence SUCK) but they still put up an interesting fight in every game.Others in the series:

I always thought they where an awesome enemy!
I like they unique style you used which has a nice look. It has a exaggerated, twisted and detailed look that is hard to pull off but you did it every well and it makes every detail stand out and fun to look at. Like the super skinny arms contrast nicely with the potbelly and those big yellow eyes.

Those guys were cake in Ocarina. But the Dark ones in Skyward were annoying if they breathed on you. I was sorta hoping that there would be a Lizalfos with two gauntlets, but I guess not.

Yeah, that would have been tough. They did have a Stalfos with four arms/swords though, so I don't see why they couldn't have done a double-armored Liz.

Gotta admit, I liked their version in Skyward Sword. The way they stretch and crack their knuckles as they slowly come towards you to beat the shit out of you, pretty badass!

They were definitely at their most badass in Skyward Sword. Even their physical design in that game was the coolest so far.

Oot strategy: Listen to Lizalfo's cry, block and counter attack, listen to Lizalfo's cry again, block and counter attack... Repeat until dead!
As a kid, these things startled me lol! Great piece here! He sure looks more slimey than scaley.

Yeah, pretty much. As a kid all you had to do was sit there blocking with the Hylian Shield and there'd be no way they could even hit you. Yeah, I thought he looked slimier than scaly when I was coloring him myself, looking more like an amphibian than a reptile but oh well.

Thanks. At first in the fire temple I thought they were tough until I learned their strategy. Then they just become like every enemy strategy in SS - swing your sword in the appropriate direction.

Very nice! One of my favorite OoT enemies, tougher than most and always real fun to fight.
This series is shaping up to be pretty awesome.. Gonna cross my fingers and hope for Twinrova.
