Description
This sketch started as an anatomy exercise and along the way it became something else. A note about Galadriel from Unfinished Tales brought to mind the athletic competitions of the Eldar back in Aman, and I tried to imagine what they would be like and if all the "cousins" (the sons of Fëanor, Fingolfin and Finarfin) would compete against each other. So, before I knew, I was thinking of Maedhros and Fingon and Aegnor. Needless to say, Fingon would for sure enter the archery competition
and I think javelin would be something Maedhros and Aegnor could be good at.And yes, Maedhros is tall... very tall
Note - bare torsos? Chances are Tolkien envisioned his Eldar wearing short and comfy tunics when practising sports/competing, but since this started as an anatomy exercise I thought it was a pity to cover all their gorgeous nudity, so bare torsos it is!
Hopefully I will have some free time soon to add some colour.

In the original Olympic games the men used to compete naked. as in birthday suits and nothing else.

I'm curious what do you imagine Galadriel/Artanis was wearing at that time? 
In my headcanon Galadriel's competing with the boys was not so unique for a Noldo, but unique for a princess. Being ordinary Noldo is better, less things others think you're supposed to do, more freedom.

I don't see them as stiff royalty but a bunch of free people living in the Blessed Realm, where some of them just happen to have titles

Nie chodzi o "sztywniackie maniery", chodzi o to że "o nich się pisze". O zwykłych Noldorkach/Noldorach wiele nie ma, a szkoda bo to równie dobry materiał na fanfic/fanart i wbrew pozorom wcale nie nudny.

I think tunics are a bit uncomfortable for sports, this is way better!
