Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with my original deviation "Γowyn of Rohan" [link] but you can always try to improve your work, right? So, Ihave reworked the face (esp. the lips) and hair, mainly the light and volumes to give it a more realistic look
This is the description I used as reference for the original deviation:
"The woman turned and went slowly into the house. As she passed the doors she turned and looked back. Grave and thoughtful was her glance, as she looked on the king with cool pity in her eyes. Very fair was her face, and her long hair was like a river of gold. Slender and tall she was in her white robe girt with silver; but strong she seemed and stern as steel, a daughter of kings. Thus Aragorn for the first time in the full light of day beheld Γowyn, Lady of Rohan, and thought her fair, fair and cold, like a morning of pale spring that is not yet come to womanhood."

I've been viewing your Tolkien pieces and I think they're all wonderful. I personally prefer it when artists show us their own vision of the character than when they try to conform to a generally accepted view. There were some things in the movies that didn't fit my view, but I had no problem with them because I believe someone else's take on a character is just as valid as my own. I wish my drawing skills were as good as yours!
The one thing I feel might be changed is to make her eyebrows a little darker, because even in very fair haired people, eyebrows are darker than the hair, and eyelashes are darker than the eyebrows. Everything else is perfect.

The same as before, in her older version, but I have to add a thing, she looks a little like Grace Kelly, and I think it fits her^_^

Ah the hair.... "like a river of gold"
It took me a long time to get it to shine like that and look soft - but it was worth the hours I invested. Still, I think it can be improved

her eyes look a little silver rather than grey, but that's still just.....holy crap it's awesome

Well, my grandfather's eyes were grey, and in a light -saturated room, they look this colour - that I actually don't think can be called "silver".
