Very nice composition and choice of exposure time. The ND filter has created an interesting illusion as if there is no water in the foreground. I would level the line of the waterfall a bit more. The slight inclination of the waterline, as well as the trees above it, is somewhat distracting to me.

I love how the clarity of the stones show such harsh textures with the contrast of the milky waterfall! Beautiful shot!

Beautiful! This has such great depth - I love that you got the stones in the foreground and the trees in the distance. And of course, the falls look amazing.

Hi,

very nice picture!

I like flowing water in long exposure times.

Some feedback:
Maybe a landscape format could be better because the foreground have much - I think too much - of the silent water. This is in contrast to the action in the middle of the picture.

Way good Brett. Will echo a bit of what was said about the crop. Seems just a bit too long...but I'd suggest just above the first row of rocks leaving the middle rocks therefore as the bottom and anchor. Nailed the water, little bit of a blown out spot on the upper right (double process raw and blend back in for detail). Way to get wet

You asked for feedback, so I'm going to toss in my short critique here (it's worth what it costs you). The technicals on the water are just about perfect - the texture of the water is great, and the detail in the forest and foreground are both crisp and rich. The bottom 1/3 or so of the image seems out of place, though.

Have you considered a trial crop of the same image, just removing the bottom 1/3rd or 2/5ths? You'll have to be careful to balance the rich green at the top with a bit of brown at the bottom, but I find the cheesy attempt I did with a card across the bottom seemed to tighten up the whole image and added a lot of energy to the whole composition.

I do like the pic, and I'll echo what you said to Justeline: your work makes me want to go visit Ricketts Glen. Thank you for sharing it.

That's so very nice of you to say!
It's amazing how photography can alter your perception of a place. I've been living in this small island for more than 2 decades and it's only since I took up landscape photography (almost 5 months ago) that I came to appreciate its beauty!
So glad you appreciate it too Brett
