Description
This is the first piece of kaiju fanart I've done in a while. Up until I watched his Ultraman episode, I thought Seabozu was meant to be a sinister, vicious kaiju. Turns out he's really sad because he ended up on Earth by accident and just wants to go back to the inky black void of space to live in peace, and I love him even more because of that.Related content

Seabozu the only Kaiju that made me cry.
it goes to show that not all kaiju are Down right evil or just plain bad.
Kaijus they are born too tall, too strong, but their also thinking, talking creatures who have fears, sadness, grief, anger, but they can kind and peaceful. Its just humanity always wants to destroy them.
Btw nice work on the Art man. it looks beautiful.

Very nice work here. I like the crosses that were added to this. The sheer length of them really gives this hallowed like presence. Really adds to the "whyyyy" like look of Seabozu.

Thanks! I wasn't completely sure how well the crosses would work, but I'm glad I pulled it off. Glad I got SOMETHING out of rewatching all of Neon Genesis Evangelion plus the three Rebuild movies!

Is the third one out yet? I only have the first 2. Which were good....though I could have done without the children's chorus singing when the Eva goes all out Hannibal Lector on the monster......

Yeah, the third one finally came out this year after being out in Japan for...at least a couple years, maybe? Things REALLY go off the rails and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. There's supposed to be at least one more, but it was put on hold so Anno could work on Resurgence, ha!

I'll have to check it out. If you do any other kaiju art, say like Red King and Black King art within the next couple of weeks, I would love to use for an upcoming kaiju video that I am scripting out. Sort of like how I did the Baragon video I posted up
