my god this took ages.. its the perfect example of me starting off with a terrific idea and being spurred on by a wave of motivation, then quickly losing interest and drive until it gets kicked into a corner and forgotten for a weeks/months/years.i probably started this mid last year, and for one reason or another i just couldnt find it in me to get on with it.
but my sister's 21st came around and there was this massive empty wall in the house that needed to be occupied, and there was my lightbulb moment..
i finished it just in time and it was very much wet as it hung on the wall. must say im quite pleased with it. oil on canvas with plenty of gooey linseed and turps mixed in and poured over liberally. enjoy.

I feel like I've seen this before..maybe under someone's faves, and liking it, but not having time to comment on it. And I hate fave and runs. So I'm glad to be finding this again! Very good of you to finish it, and on time, too! It's so sad when work runs out of steam, and then you just leave it to sit, forgotten.

thanks for the comments! it was certainly a pain to see it languish unfinished for so long.. and its about a metre and a half across, 700 up.
