Mischievous, sneaky and somewhat gluttenous, James' Inkay made it a habit to follow Team Rocket and steal their food. This became its downfall as James used his lunch for bait. Resourceful Inkay uses its ink to disable other Pokemon from attacking it and counterattacks with ease. Even though Team Rocket remains fearful of the evil Malamar, which Inkay can evolve into, Inkay itself holds a strong grudge against said Malamar and is willing to protect it's friends from Malamar.
