3 shot HDR merge. Upper Paradise Valley, Kings Canyon National Park, California. Taken with Nikon D70s + Nikkor 17-35mmI hope you dont mind me posting so much HDR lately. I am trying to refine my process of creating HDR images. Because the canyon walls are so high in paradise valley, and because they run north and south, lighting conditions there are very difficult. Due to my lack of a good filter system, I decided to bracket more than I normally would and post process with the idea of creating a natural look using HDR merge.
edit: vignette didnt seem like the best idea. removed it, and added a plain white border. Thanks to !fanaticus , =couleur , and *paddimir for the feedback on this.

You did a fine job of keeping this natural. I am not a huge fan of HDR because it can be (and often is) overdone... thank you for not doing that.

The capture is like a scene taken from a movie, I can't remember wich one tho 
I'm new to this HDR-thing, what is it really and how is it done. Isn't it something with that you combine different exposed shots when you stitch a photo together or something. It woulde be awsome if you could give me a brief explenation on how to make 'em

wonderful HDR. It's rare that you can't even tell it's an HDR, I think. I agree with couleur about the vignetting though

Nice photo, very classical. The HDR effect made it look like a processed film. Btw, the vignetting wasn't a good choice.

wow. once again you've done it! first of all, it's a great shot. second of all, it looks very natural, if you hadn't said it i would never have guessed it was HDR. very nice.
but...
i have to say it - i really hate the dark borders around the image. they look pretty cheap. sorry for being so harsh.
