I've seen a lot of photos like this and i'm so curious... how do you get the water to look like that? do u use a certain shutter speed or do you do something in Photoshop?

Its long shutter. This was taken with an IR filter which are very dark in order to allow only IR light to pass through. The EXIF recorded an 8 second shutter speed on this one.

Ah that makes sense, i'll have to experiment with it sometime soon. I'm hoping to get a set of filters for my camera for Christmas so i'll def have to try this! Thanks for responding back

I believe if you go back to processing and into curves and adjust the red and blue one by one, some more white will come out..Did you use channel mixer as well ?

I used channel mixer, curves and hue/sat for this. I wanted the blues in the water and am not interested in getting more white in this image, but thanks for your suggestion and interest.

I have lots of other infrared work if you check here [link]

Agreed! If you have it, I would be interested in seeing it in normal (non-IR) color.

I have some non-IR shots of these falls but not this particular composition.
