Description ~Choco-Kun gave me some great tips on coloring and shading with Prisma markers, so I doodled these two at work today and tried 'em out. Some stuff worked, some didn't, but ti was all trial and error.

I've always loved the kiss at the end of The Little Mermaid, and omg! Eric's hair turned out looking not all that bad! Aurora seems to be half-chibi, and half inspired by the talented ~mimi-na [link] Go check out this gallery if you haven't, it's fanTAStic! For reference, chibi is not really my style, so I apologize if Aurora looks...odd.

They are like, the Holy Grail of markers. They last forever and have such a true vibrant color, as well as two pen tips (one large and angled and one small and fine) so you get about 5 different line strokes you can make.

You can also blend the colors together to make new colors, as well as blend them with Prisma Colored Pencils for some really cool effects too.

My only gripe about them is that they sometimes have a tendency to bleed out, especially in really small detailed areas, but you can usually avoid that just by changing your grip/hold on the marker. They are also kinda expensive, about $4 each. But definately worth the investment!

Any Aaron Brothers store will have them, either individually, or in some box sets. I would suggest getting a box set of the basic colors first, and then adding to your collection individually as the need for more colors presents itself.

Also, check out 's gallery for great Disney art done with Prisma markers. He's the one who gave me some tips on shading with them.
