Description
Commission for She requested her two fav Disney characters, Wendy Darling and Christopher Robin. The idea of these two kids together was just too cute, I couldn't wait a single second to get started on it!
Both characters have incredible childhood adventures that their respective adult-figures would dismiss as imagination. It makes sense they would tell each other, if they could. The line is taken directly from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
And ps, the "pinky-swear" is the ULTIMATE oath-sealer...just so ya'll are aware.

I seem to remember some Winnie the Pooh story where Pooh pretended to be a cloud and was flying by holding onto a balloon. When he couldn't get down, Christopher took out a slingshot and popped the balloon. Or so methinks I remember.
Also, a little boy who routinely treks through the woods? In my mind, having a slingshot just seemed natural for him. Lol, he's adventurous.
Originally I had planned to have Wendy holding a wooden pirate sword in her other hand, to help balance out the "childhood toys" thing...but again, I got lazy.

I can see it now: John and Michael bring their new friend Christoper Robin home from school, and Wendy tells them a Peter Pan story. It's just so easy to see them as innocent friends!

haha it would be funny, but i don't see them as any sort of couple. More like a "My parents don't believe I went to Neverland."/"My parents don't believe Pooh can talk"/"Let's be friends" sorta thing.
Peter would totally get jealous of anyone who took Wendy's attention away from him though.
