Again, more practice with colored pencils. I really REALLY like the way the Hatter's hat came out, it looks very felt-y to me. I saw this pic of the two characters online and I just loved the way the Hatter was peeking out from behind Alice's shoulder [link] so I had to draw it.Characters are property of Disney

Nnngg, the way you draw Hatter is just too darn cute. The hat came out great - I struggle with the darn thing pretty much all the time. Cute, cute, cute.
I need to use traditional media more, it always has charm to it that you can't get with digital.

Traditonal media may have a certain charm, but it also has the glorious frustration of when your orange pencil breaks for the 9th time after sharpening, and then a 10th when you throw it across the room in frustration.
