Because Rebis is meant to be unified, and not seperate, as a sort of ‘punishment’, at the Eclipse’s end when the other wakes up, the process is not very pleasant.
At the end of the Solar Eclipse, Sol wakes up through a scorching blinding light (the chromosphere, which is visible during eclipses and will burn your retinas).

Sol looks like he's awakening with an invigorated burst of energy, with Lun doing her utmost to either bite back the pain, or is trying to maintain what control she still has as a singular entity.
I really like the detail with the chromosphere - it's very clever.
