Description I'm moving away from this style, I think, but I had the graphite of this sitting on my computer since July/August and needed to color it.  For closure, I guess.  And because there's one hell of a story behind this.

July 2018, my best friend and I took a cruise up the Danube.  Our housekeeper on the ship was a very timid personality (at least outwardly), had the miraculous ability to teleport directly into the room (we assume) as soon as we'd left, and--though we tried very hard not to leave anything for him to have to do--waged a one-man war to FIND something to tidy in our already-tidy room.  I'm not saying that wealthy people are inherently messy or incapable of picking up after themselves, but my friend and I were decidedly less wealthy than most of the other cruise-goers, and we are not accustomed to having someone pick up after us.  The first night, he slipped into our room and folded the two or three items we'd pulled out of our suitcases.  We were horrified that we'd left a mess (we were only gone an hour!) and hence, the battle for the bedroom chores began.

We tried to proof the room against him.  No clothes left out, towels folded, things on dresser straightened.  We thought this would give him a break; he could drop off the daily bottle of water and newspaper and move on with his rounds.

NOPE.  He always found something.  It got to the point that the poor soul coiled our phone charging cords and re-aligned the shoes by the door.  He was an endearing personality and, after the first couple of days of the bedroom battle, we entertained ourselves by imagining him as a mouse and drawing him performing a series of increasingly-ridiculous tidying tasks.

We stopped in Vienna and took a backstage tour of the Spanish Riding School (omg!), saw the stallions with their messy backstage braids...hence, the next afternoon on the boat, the mouse started braiding horse manes.

Lest anyone think the bedroom battle occurred because we didn't want to tip the man, let me assure you, he was a wonderful person to get to know (when he had a moment) and we were MORTIFIED by his extreme attention to detail--he received far above the standard rate.
