Description A very quick drawing I rendered while listening to the radio. I gladly admit to eye-balling this here photo ( organicgreendaddy.com/wp-conte… ) as a ref, although I changed the angle considerably. XD

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. ~Luke 2:11-14

Amen. Β God bless you with this picture. Β

I can't tell you how many times people these days have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas, it is always joyful to see that others remember the true meaning.

Beautiful artwork!

And for pagans to claim they own both the winter and spring days, because they happen to celebrate something around that time, is absurd. God created the seasons and days and they belong to Him.

Well, as I said, non-Christians can celebrate whatever they like--I just wish they'd stop trying to re-define what I'm celebrating. XD That's just intrusive and petty. God sent his Son, no matter what month it happened, so I'm celebrating.

Oh wow, thank you so much for writing that out. You've said it so much better than I ever could hope. And on the picture, it's beautiful how you have the snow and the grass around Jesus' feet.

Well thanks, but I'm just quoting the Bible and paraphrasing what other Christians have taught me. Hope you had a merry Christmas.

Ooooooh lady, I love you! This is so well done! And your added written work is just sooooo good! I love it! This just has to be a fave! (just between you and me, closest estimate seems to be september? But the date does not really matter, the fact He WAS born and for what purpose DOES!) Totally agree with you here!! God bless & I hope you had a joy filled Christmas!! All love from Australia!!

They keep changing it, I guess. I've heard March, June, and September so far. Not that I'm opposed to celebrating Christmas every month. XD Same to you, God bless.

Very true, it's remembering that that's the hard part.

Yeah, we can get caught up with day to day living. I just try to remember it as often as I can and not let 'life' take me over.

*tear* and A HERE HERE! It's nice to know a Christian who also admits it's not the real Birth date and doesn't try and defended like that but rather explain why we celebrate it then. Much love fellow believer and VERY MERRY CHIRSTMAS!

I've always considered the meaning of a holiday to be above its accuracy, date-wise. Whenever Christ was born, it is undeniable that the yearly reminder of his birth has inspired amazing generosity in people, ya know? Really I think Jesus appreciates that more than if we had the actual day of his birth pegged. A very merry Christmas to you as well, here's to another year of spreading the love.

Aww, this is really beautiful, and the speech too. Even if I may not be religious, it touched me. And I don't like it when people only want to get things for Christmas, because that's not what it's about. It makes me feel warm every year because I want to do even more that I can to make others happy.

As for the picture, it too is lovely. You almost look like a child in his arms, that's really sweet.

Haha, well I'm glad it looks like a child, since it's not actually supposed to be me...although I did look something like that when I was that age. It's just meant to be a little boy to represent all of us.
