Description So this was actually a cover for a fanfiction story that my (ex) girlfriend and I were writing about Avatar: The Last Airbender. Mac Anu (which is also that legendary city from that story...) is half earthbender, half airbender. Seraphina, the girl, is half waterbender, half firebender.

My former English teacher (who was also one of my best friends, believe it or not) said he liked hte quotes I put near the mixed symbols.

"The stability of earth, the freedom of air."

"The fluidity of water, the power of flame."

Said they reminded him of some Hinduism quotes or Buddhist quotes or something like that.

And I just made these up. lol.

well, idk, it's hard for me to agree or disagree. I liked what he did better, but his class was lit, not english, and he did just that. Mrs glover thought us grammar and vocabulary and formatting and punctuations and all that annoying crap. That's English, or at least a part of it. I remember english comp 1 and it was basically a summery of everything she thought us.

Mr david's was more analytical, we read something ad then wrote about it, which is something we're expected to do in most college classes anyways. so you cant count writing a paper as and English class type assignment. To be honest, the only reason his class was distinctly a lit class is the same reason why a film studies class is a film studies class. The stuff we looked at and wrote about. films in films studies and literature in lit class.

i liked his class better too, and i think his assignments where a little more relevant. But it's hard t do advanced calculus without knowing and being familiar with the logic presented in basic to intermediate arithmetic (and possibly algebra, there's a lot of logic there too), and we would have done a lot worse in Mr david's class if it wasnt for mrs glover's english.
