'Partially made of ink' is a bit of an understatement. He's basically a fur sack full of ink with some openings. He bleeds ink and his organs, tongue, tail, forelimbs, ear tips and eyes are made of ink. When sad, bored or serious pupils disappear. When excited, curious or comes up with something pupils go weird and swirly. When he's anything else, pupils are normal.
