Description Early Tempian/Tenari interceptor and close air support vehicle named after the ferocious tentacled beasts native to northern Tenar and Maakren (a demon in Tempian culture).

Single seat fighter aircraft with back mounted jet engine and V tail. Struts connecting the engine and the wings support the plane's structural integrity during high speed turns and the weight of wing mounted weapon systems. Tricycle type landing gear. First Tenari aircraft to feature an ejection seat. A carrier capable variant was also created to supplement naval operations.

Maximum Speed: 1000 km/h
Service Ceiling: 15,000 m
Range: 1,600 km

Armament:
x2 7.5 mm machine guns mounted in the nose.
x2 30 mm auto-cannons mounted in the nose.
x2 under wing hard points for rocket pods of varying caliber, additional auto-cannons, 50 kg bombs or guided missiles.
- Initially anti-tank missiles with MCLOS guidance systems but quickly replaced with SACLOS due to the atrocious accuracy of original.
- Infrared AA missiles included later once they had been developed.

Edit: updated the max speed, service ceiling and range to something a bit more reasonable (I'm not an aeronautical engineer!).

An actual vulg:

700 km/h? I mean, early jet aircraft were relatively slow, but that's something else...

Is that too slow? I was going off of specifications for the CM.170 and the He 162. Well I'll adjust that then

(My expertise in engineering is civil rather than aeronautical so thanks for pointing that out)

*1 month later...*
Yeh, it was a little slow—the maximum level flight speed of the He-162 varied from 790 to 905 km/h depending on the condition, and the CM.170's maximum of 715 may be purposefully limited for its use as a trainer. 1000 km/h is more like it, especially if they had access to the rare materials (chromium, indium, titanium, etc.) that the allies in WWII had in abundance*.

*German jet and rocket engines were limited in their efficiency, pressure ratios, thrust-to-weight ratios, and mean-time-before-overhaul by their shortages.
