Description
This old fashioned TEK school uniform is fairly typical of government school fashion trends in Tempia from the 1940s all the way to the early 1990s (also the corresponding time period in Tenar). Girls wore skirts with suspenders cut mid or just above the calf whereas boys wore shorts (or pants in summer). Otherwise the top half of the uniform was largely the same across both genders baring differently cut shirts to allow for the male or female body type. This was a departure from earlier uniforms which were a lot more traditional with sashes etc (the only traditional part now being the feather in the hat) and varied wildly between genders. Jumpers and jackets were also available for both genders. It was commonly joked that the neck scarf was for wiping away tears after suffering a difficult test.

Would Brijeka attend TEK a few decades earlier she would have worn this uniform. Instead she gets to wear the more modern polo shirts and shorter skirts without suspenders (only a small handful of Tempian schools still use this uniform).

Please don't compare this to those Japanese school uniforms just because they both have neck scarves (damn Japs appropriating sailor suits!). I'm sure the Japanese don't wear berets with feathers in them! Besides, the Scout uniform includes neck scarves similar to those too.
