Happy New Year everyone!!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season filled with love and cheer and all the good stuff 
Now that the holiday busies are over and I'm back home, I've finally had a chance to snap a group shot of my completed fox soft mount collection: Natural Color Variations of the Wild Red Fox 
Left to right:

I feel very lucky to have each and every one of them! Hope y'all enjoy the photo, and please, no hateful comments. I did not kill these foxes~ And if you don't like taxidermy, that's fine- but be respectful and keep your comments to yourself if that's the case

You can always tell which mounts are done by Katie, and which by Nemi. They are just lovely!

Yes! They each have their own characteristic style that is unique, no doubt!!! I truly love and appreciate being able to see that special touch each artist has in each piece 
And thank you!! I think Katie got his pelt from glacierwear~ he was from Canada originally

LOL! They are kinda like pet foxes, but I don't have to feed them or deal with walks/vet bills/etc.

The pelts are real, but as stated in the description; they are soft mount taxidermy pieces.

At first, I thought it was a bit disgusting, because they are dead animals. But my grandfather had an ermine like that, which was much less well done. So I wanted to say that it was beautiful. As an artist, I know that everything that is created has a little piece of the soul of the creator. And these foxes surely had to take a lot of care and time to be so beautiful. If this is your passion, you're really lucky to have such beautiful specimens ! So even though I'm not a fan of the concept, I can only bow before such a beautiful work!
Each one seems to have their own personnality !

I'm sorry it saddens you, but I will take that as a compliment- the artists each did a wonderful job recreating lifelike expressions so well that it fooled you!
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have these 4 foxes as live pets- but I do not have the accommodations to give foxes a happy home/life, so I stick with my 2 dogs for pet purposes! They are quite wonderful little pups and get the best of everything- I love them very dearly!

Girl, the key is to keep an eye out for the pre-mades! All of them (except for Kai, he was my first soft mount and was commissioned!) I snagged up as pre-mades in sales

I know whatcha mean! Unfortunately every time one came up they sold within a matter of minutes or I just frankly didn't have the money. That waa the case with that pretty silver you snatched up there. If I had the money, I would've fought anyone for him!

Awww they're all so lovely!! I think Kai is still my favorite... I love me a cross. c; But they all are awesome!

It's hard for me to pick a favorite, they are all extremely well made and I love different qualities in each one! Plus they each have their own unique "personality" about their look, you know? And that is a great idea~ I'll have to make a collage of some comparison shots other than just the faces
