Description Spent a good amount of the weekend discussing firearms with and it inspired me to make another weapon. This is a SIG Sauer P250 with tactical flashlight based on my personal reference: [link] I loathe the gun's trigger pull and have been toying around with the idea of selling it so I thought I'd complete a model before it's gone.

Project served as an opportunity to sculpt micro details in nDo2 and 95% of the texture was done in Quixel's new dDo Beta.

Model is 2638 triangles and is using 1k maps.

Also a special thanks to for help with material definition.

So what did you do.... make the low poly and then just hit Triangulate? looks lik

Sort of, ya. Game engines run on triangles only, so I optimize the geometry by removing all the edge loops that are not contributing to the silhouette and merge all the unnecessary vertices. Then auto-triangulate whatever quads remain in the FBX export process.
