my pleasure. have an infinity for watercolor. I grew up around it. Blanche ended up quitting oil in the 1960s and went to pastel and watercolor at the end there. She felt oil was bad for her eyes etc. My mother always painting in watercolor. I have tried my hand at it, some large abstractions.

I really like your ability with watercolor, that allows such freedom and yet we see all the detail. Bravo!

I thought so, when I clicked on the thumbnail and full view I thought they looked more like pomegranates and then I read the description.... so I'm curious, why is it titled "Adam's Apples"?
Sorry, I'm ocd like that.
What caught my eye to this picture was the texture and the compilation of layered colors.
I'm intrigued by the use of un-solid lines and I like your shading with the water colors.
I also like that there's only color in the center and how it seems to fade out into the surrounding white backdrop.
It's differant and it's aesthetically pleasing. I like it.

Thank you Naomi for not only looking, but also giving me the gift of a nicely detailed reaction - oh, I do appreciate that! In regard to the question of why I called it Adam's Apples - its because the apple tree is not a native to the Middle-East, where Eden is supposed to have been, but many biblical scholars think that the fruit written about in Genesis was probably the pomegranate, but then European biblical translators chose to refer to Eve's gift as an apple which Europeans were more familiar with. Makes sense? Best, Barrie
