Description
Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. I am entering it in an Arts Festival.Took about 8 hours all in all using HB, 3B, 5B and 7B pencils.

Honestly...I don't see why love has to be so much more, lustfully, described these days. "Love" in Pride and Prejudice was a strong and passionate feeling, and everything about it was so beautiful. I think my favorite couples to display MY vision of love were Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy and Miss Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, and Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables.
Colin Firth is one of my faves, and I think the expression you portrayed him here is perfect. Like said before me, he's probably gazing admiringly at Lizzie 
I was even just talking about the character with my friend in class today, she thinks Mr. Darcy is an overrated snob. I presume that obviously, she never completely read the book.
So now, since you gave permission to someone else before me.. I am going to feature this!!!!!!!!!

I just finished reading An Assembly Such as This and came across this drawing again. I love it. The book is the first of a trilogy and afterward I'm going to watch the movie again. He is the one and only Mr Darcy!
