I was using my mobile phone to take pictures of my drawings and paintings and downloading it ( oh by the way I Spotified godsmack listen to it now sounds like metallica)could not understand how the other pencil drawings were so dark.Found a gallery can't remember the name , he said he scanned his drawings the photoshopped them to altered the contrast. I wrote back to him and said I thought he was cheating because what you are seeing is not his actual pencil drawings . I use graphite. For the darker areas I used Pitt oil base extra soft pencil by FaberCastell

oh ,gotcha with the cheating . I smoothen the textures on my scans but that doesn't alter the way it looks.it makes it just like the drawing does (i wouldn't know how to alter a picture in PS) i'll have to keep an eye out for a fabercastell extra soft pencil next time I'm at the supply store
