Some more Triforce Link stuff. Due to becoming the Triforce itself imbued with vast, unquantifiable power and presence, it caused a cosmic retcon throughout time and space that made it so that every instance of the Triforce within the timelines was now a ‘Triforce Link’.
In this instance, we have Wind Waker Ganondorf, who has long since grown weary of things around him. Both he and the Power fragment of Tri-Link had managed to form a close bond with each other over the ages. Initially he found her to be an annoyance he had to deal with in order to have the power he desired.
Eventually, however, he came to view her as a close friend and companion, who was always willing to lend an ear when there was something he needed to let off his chest. He had to admit that her company probably helped keep him from going insane

Just wondering, if possesing one piece gets a sprite and all 3 gets the full Tri-Link what happens in the few instancess someone gets 2 piece's?
Do they get two sprites or do the sprites still merge creating a Duo-Link of the two pieces in question?

I think Wind Waker Ganondorf wanted a bit more than simply restoring the land. Though in the long run, it was likely just due to him being unable to move on and being overtaken by nostalgia for the 'good old days'. If anything, WW Ganondorf came off as a rather broken man who just kind of went through the motions of it all because of fate.

I feel sorry for Ganondorf in any incarnation. Except in Twilight Princess because he’s just truly evil there and the games where he’s just Ganon the boar beast. He’s been cursed to fight against Link and Zelda for eternity due to Demise and unlike Link and Zelda, it seemed like he didn’t even know it was going to happen to him.
