Stunning!

I am impressed with the composition here especially when I look at the Exif data.

I shoot with a 5DmkIII and I've yet to shoot flowers like this. Excellent work if I may say so~

Your brother went to BHS or BSU or Tech or Oak Hill? Iron Range! That area spooks me. Still. All that red iron dust everywhere and creepy shadows and those lakes without a bottom and ice hockey players that always gave me goosebumps and butterflies whenever we had to play them in all those forbidden mining towns a long ways from home for a traveling "A" level squirt/pee wee/bantam team from the metro area, i.e., Edina. We were booed before we even emerged from the locker room.

I really admire how you have captured the essence of nature scenes around your home in southern MN. They look just beautiful. All of them.

I love this Bemidji area. I've been around here in one way or another for nearly 25 years. I could live anywhere and have lived & vagabonded all over the world. And here is where I'm happiest of all... [link]

He went to Bemidji State I believe. Before that he went to Michigan Tech. I don't know if I've ever been up there.

And thank you (: some of the spring ones are from a town by Decorah Iowa, but that's pretty much the extent. You should check out the Timber wolf ones. they really capture the northern Minnesota spirit!

Lol and I can't really seem to understand why the Iroan Range would give you the spooks, besides the story you told me. My brother is 28 and my dad is 51, they both were in swimming, it would be a huge coincidence but what sport did you play? You might've swam against them?

You don't know if you've ever been to Bemidji? You would know, the sun shines differently there...

Yeah, I really, really like your gallery of nature scenes from MN (and Iowa). Hope you keep posting more!

That ain't no story about the Iron Range. That's reality. I also would fly all the time between Bemidji and Hibbing, and even from the sky it was freaky.

I play ice hockey. I've always played ice hockey. The only swimming I ever did at the community pool was chase girls underwater. My friend and I almost joined the Swim Team at Georgia Tech, but on the first day the coach had us jogging laps, so we said screw this, we wanna swim, not jog. So we joined the Scuba Diving Club instead. That was way funner anyways.

So, what's the deal, your whole family is up north and you are way down there by Iowa?

My mom's side of the family lives in Iowa And there really aren't any jobs up in the Iron Range.. everyone is leaving, it's all old people

I actually really like Iowa, especially in summer seeing all those towering corn fields amid that sprawling blue sky streaked with E<>W contrails.

I can that happening up on the Iron Range, a mass exodus. That type of mining industry is really passe these days...
