Whew! This guy took a long time! hahaha
This is Murtagh's dragon Thorn, which is the cover of the second book, Eldest, in the Eragon series.
This drawing started out months ago during my study class when my friend, as a joke, told me to draw the dragon covering the book she was reading. And so I began to draw. I then realized that it was coming out really well so little by little I drew more and more of it at home.
He was origionally supposed to just be shading practice
But I think he came out really badass
I am very proud of the way he came out, even though there are a few errors... I still like it

and yes yes yes! It was an awesome series, and I have read them all....although I didn't quite like the ending... I can see why it ended as it did....but I just hoped for something more I guess, maybe some romance or something

Umm well i drew it over a year ago but i think it was about 4-5 hours on and off. I just remember that it took awhile with all the scales

That's a lot of tedium on the scales, but worth it. I dig how there are soo many renditions of dragons. I fave a lot of them, It's facinating how people see inside. I like this one a lot.
