Hey guys, its me Gus. AAAAAH finally I can draw and post art again after my laptop was shut down over a week till i fix it this weekend. I do got alot of art ideas that I want to tackle this week ^^. Anyway, this art is a sketch that I was working on for a while through my college quarter. I wanted to work more on drawing objects with details and the first one that came on my mine is a cannon XD. So I looked up a youtube vid and drew the sketch of it and decide to and characters who are operating it. I also add detail to their uniform by adding green to represent them are Irish. Reason for this is because its an inspiration of a civil war song that I love listening to called "The Boys that wore the Green." This song was about the 69th Irish Brigade that fought in the Civil War. The history of the Irish involving in the the Civil War is very fascinating since this group fought on both sides due to the south and north who were desperate of needing more soldiers and they were in luck since a huge migration of Irish immigrants moved to America that time. So yeah, hope you guys like it ^^.
