I'm aliiiive~!PLEASE fullview. And download for even bigger size lol.
I'm going to try to make this as spoiler-free as I can.
From left to right: Fanchon, Dee, Wynne. Three characters from the book 'A Spell For Chameleon' by Piers Anthony. He has an odd way of writing, but I fell in love with it... and the characters.
The chameleon is an important symbol in this book! But you don't find out why until the end, so I'm not telling! X:
I'm not sure why it looks so slanted. Probably because I had to scan it in two parts.
Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper. I had SO much fun with this!
...And because apparently I can't go a deviation without mentioning =Rtalon235 , I want to thank him for introducing me to this author.

I liked the part in the book where Bibk's dad tells his son not to piss on tree nymphs lol Also Trent is awesome, he's like the Xanth version of Magneto; a dude colored to be a Villian but really has good intentions at heart.

This is a gorgeous picture! You're the only person I know of on the whole Internet who's done a good picture of even one of these three girls.
Ah, you pictured Wynne in a red dress as well! Red is, biologically speaking, the sexiest of all colors. What a looker!
But I picture her with black hair and green eyes, and her dress being primarily deep red with trim of both gold and deep green.
Believe me, I know Wynne in the book, and I can't think of a single-word direct quote from the book that fits her pose here. It could be (you'll probably have to reference the pages for context):
- "Sure," her very first word in the book, from page 59.
- "You want payment?" from page 61, but that's not one word.
- "Sure," from page 258.
- "Oh, Bink!" from page 256.
- "What?" from page 306.
- "Oh, Bink!" from page 306.

XD I pictured them going from dull, bland colors (brown/gray) to neutral (green and white) to GLAMOROUS. xD And of course, ditzy = blond (I can say that because I'm blond. XD Or.. used to be. Damn color changing hair). Although I can picture Wynne the way you describe her now. Maybe I'll try an alternate version. xD
And the one word iiiiiis *drumroll*
"Payment?"
So you were on the right track with the first quote. I think at one point she just starts asking "Payment?" and starting to lift her skirt every time Bink tries to get her to run away from the dragon. xD But I don't have the page reference, since I don't actually own the book. X:

xD I need to keep reading and draw the picture for the third book. But my library fails, and only has really random books. I need to place the fourth one on hold but I keep putting it off. That, and I'm determined to draw the picture for the third before I read the fourth.

I've been reading the series for a few years now, and the earlier books are definitely the best.
Piers Anthony obviously can't count(15 + books in a trilogy!)
