My first submission. Actually that's a lie. I stopped using my other account in DA. No real reason other than the feeling I need to hit the reset button. Hopefully I won't be as lazy as I once was. Hopefully. Maybe.A lot of mistakes but hey, I could always do better next time. Finishing this was a bitch. I know, it doesn't show. It's like re-learning everything I knew and what I knew isn't really much. It was kinda fun.
Tools: Pencil, Pen, Photoshop CS4...and a lot of head-scratching...
Darkseid, Batman, Superman, and Hawkgirl are owned by DC...I'm just borrowing them.

If Darkseid is a GL, shouldn't he have a green uniform (with a green omega perhaps) ?

Seriously though, I think it's lack of imagination 
Maybe all he needs is love and a Violet Lantern costume is more to his preference
The ring has cracked probably because he beat the living crap out of a GL corpsman to acquire it. Don't know if that's possible but hey, that's what great with fan art right?
