Description
This was commissioned by ~cresent34 , and he wanted me to make a comic similar to the vampire one I made [link] except he wanted it to criticize wizards. To him, wizards used to be old guys with powerful magic spells that could defeat god-like creatures, and now they're just nerds with powerful magic spells that could defeat god-like creatures... Does anyone remember when being a nerd was a bad thing? I swear that now-a-days (ack, old people talk) it's basically a fad or something. o_OUArt © *BrokenTeapot

I'm not making fun of Harry Potter, I'm just saying that wizards have changed over the years, and the commissioner wanted me to depict today's wizards as being nerdy. -_-U

Sometimes, yeah I feel this way. Same with gatling guns, cause they are more powerful compared to other weapons irl, and yet in most games they just preform like rifles with huge clips.

JRR Tolken knows what wizards are ment to be, wise, powerful and aged (meaning they have have spent their lives collecting knowlage and traveling the world in search of secrets long lost)

BTW, after looking at this and the other comic. I thought of something interesting, how clowns changed over the years. They use to be dorky and funny, but now they're all evil and scary.

I was nerd when nerd wasn't cool. I do like both types of wizards. It's refreshing to see wizards that aren't badly cliched Merlin wannabees, but expanding on character does NOT involve hopping onto the latest kid wizard/vampire/videogame hero bandwagon.
