... because "Green Hairstreak" would be an even stranger title...Random painting practice while I was away. A kitten and a Callophrys Rubi butterfly. In a forest.
Not sure if I like it, but at least I managed to draw a vaguely-decent kitten, without a reference this time? :D
Drawn in SAI and Photoshop. Update: progress part 1 , part 2 . For anyone interested.

Thank you, it looks just like my Velvet Kitty when she was a baby. I had one of her kittens who has a Siamese kitten (Chuzzle) and his sister had a kitten but she got hit by a a car and we raised her kitten since he was 3 weeks old. We still have him (Buckshot) he is 9 now. We lost Chuzzle last year to a unknown illness and we were devastated. We also raised Chuzzle since he was born, he was the 1st kitten in his litter we found and we fell in love with him instantly, so you can imagine, he was 11.

Oh holy hell. Bronze, your art is stunning most of the time but this is just incredible! I've been sat here staring at it for ages! The detail is just gorgeous, on the fur, the butterfly's wings, the water (especially the water, I'm so drawn to it)Β
