so I'm not very good at making hard digital art so I was wondering if you could make me colored griffon adopt using your base? I am happy to pay 50-300 points for it. name your price in that range within reason! If you're willing to do this I will be happy to send da points how you request them asap.
colors requested- ice blue stripes on it and fox red coat and wings, yellowish gold front bird type feet.
here's the standard I want the base to measure up to- same as you did in above deviation.
reply to this comment please.

Excuse me!
I just happen to have a group that has griffins as the main topic!
Can I please feature this in our 'Featured'?
(well until I work out the folders heh..)

Sorry about that. I know, a lot of people don't use points. D:
It's the equivalent of 1 US dollar. It would be silly to use Paypal for such a small amount. Not sure what other options there are, though.

Yep, whenever I start making "higher level" files to sell (like fonts, or detailed 3D models set up with rigging, animation) then I might try other places than DA. It seems the interest in such things would be limited here.
For Patreon the only extra stuff I can think of is: monthly free sketches and adoptables, CSS journal template, 3D creature models to edit/paint... uhh... perhaps an early look at concept art of my fantasy comic (got dozens of human characters, costume designs, landscapes, weird monsters; I won't upload that art here for a long time, until all is finalised).
Oh, and I'm also working on a bunch of free "character generators", sorta like these but also visual ones, using dozens of layers of images and scripting. The ultimate goal is a website where one can click and generate detailed creature markings, armour, wound locations, personality, possibly-coherent (lol) backstory etc. For writers/roleplayers who are lazy, or just want a few bits of inspiration.

First off, apologies on the delay to reply, been distracted. Ohh now seeing that kinda stuff would be neat I think. I've never one to grasp how the 3-D crap works. So it's always neato to see other folks bring that to life!Because I'm always staring at it going "how did they DO that??!?!?!" Hell even sharing like screenshots or small slides of WHAT you are actually doing to make it (aka for those who cant be on to watch a live stream) would be a neat thing to see too. Well at least my thoughts. But yes, DA is limited to a great degree on many things; including the value of art at times vs if you go to other art sites. :c
Many times folks who follow artists, always enjoy being able to see WIPS and sneak peak of things early (including me) before the rest or only way to see it period, so that would be a nice bonus as options. All wonderful ideas so it is mostly just a matter of you deciding what your plan is and how you'd want to organize it. What are YOUR goals and dreams? What are you wanting more time to do? Ie; more time to do your 3d models or work on your comic? So many ways one could use it I feel but ya gotta decide what works for you to make it work, have fun and not get overwhelmed or burnt out to the point it becomes annoying to work on.
I like the concept of what Patreon is, just not something that could work for me since I *HATE* having a strict schedule on when I *must* do art and I feel with that, folks are paying you to keep on a certain schedule. >.>; I do so much at random and when the mood strikes I'd feel guilty I think if I went off track.
That sounds like a fun but very TIME consuming and a very big project!!!! You certainly should be getting paid for your time, if nothing else before you offer that! Hours on hours of work for something others can use, shouldn't go wasted especially with I assume the time it would take to just get ONE thing of that going, like the character itself, let alone all the other added choices. >o< I assume you might show progress shots or demo's of this project on one of your patreon tiers? But then again, that is yours and if you wish to share that for free that is truly a show of your big heart. ♥ YOU HAVE ME CURIOUS! You mean tease you!
And LOL very well said, yes for LAZY folks. XD I have dozens of characters, only a few actually have their backstory written up; like less than 10. I say tons, I am not being dramatic. The others, NOPE. I know it, its there in my brain (for the main ones at least) but never took time to put it to paper. Lazyness, I tell ya at its finest. Oh yes, I'm not ashamed of it.

It's fine, I'm sometimes away for days or even weeks, due to illness or other RL stuff. No need to rush to reply to me, I'm very patient in turn. Heck I've been waiting nearly a year for a commission payment, still not getting angry.
3D stuff: yes, I really want to make a complete walk-through of modelling a creature from scratch, then texturing, rigging and animating. Aimed at total beginners/hobbyists, because most stuff out there is complex. But I can't do that on DA. With so many GIFs and stuff to arrange, it would be better hosted on a website. Whenever I get round to setting that up... x)
Same, having a monthly quota of things to draw is a bit scary. I'm slowly working on multiple games, a colouring book, posters, website design, and the gigantic comic/graphic-novel project. Also composing music, self-teaching some programming... it's crazy. I barely have time for a couple of simple commissions per month, let alone drawing heaps more. But some extra income would be very helpful, so must try.
As for the "fantasy resource" website, it's not a problem making it free. Hopefully Patreon donations would cover the hosting costs, so adverts wouldn't be needed.
I've already got text-based scripts working (it's just a matter of coming up with stuff to go in them). Also halfway through the visual one. Currently it's generating simple random horse coats. But it's incomplete still. Gonna need to find a Javascript expert and ask for help in expanding it...
Send me a note if you want a link, to play with it. More suggestions always welcome. Like types of markings, armour, scars, or other things that could vary a lot in a creature. Hm, if I can get lots of layers working, maybe even background landscapes could be dynamically generated too... ohh, so many possibilities.

Woo I not forget you honest! I'm just really bad at replying to crap. Heck even now, I still have like 40+ waiting on my attention.
Illness? Aww, I hope it is nothing too serious? That would suck! I hope you are okay and all that jazz, being sick or what not is no fun. I should know, I'm currently under a lot of stress and strain due to a lot of back-pain. That of which we are not sure is the cause so it makes it really hard to do ANYTHING. Even basic sitting or standing. :c A year? that is very patient indeed but I think you should at least by now, make some sort of attempt to ask for it? Like a friendly nudge-reminder? A year is an insanely long time to wait without any payment. Even a partial payment would be more fitting I think. (I've done that before for bigger stuff. )
See the 3-Dness would be cool as fuck. I'm sure there are others who can't fathom who the hell that shit is made either or where to even start if they are interested on trying it, so you'd prob get a lot of attention on that. For curious minds if nothing else. XD Tho these days, I'm sure you'd have some that want to try to do it too. Not me, I'll stick to my simple shit.
A COLORING BOOK?!?! LOOK FOR REAL? What would this book contain?!?! *gets wallet out* This I'd prob very much want to buy! Especially if its full of tons of horses and MAYBE one day you'll consider doing dragons of YOUR style. This means you pick the traits you like on the horns etc etc. I know your mantra on this, I've seen your replies when folks have given it as a suggestion for a new base from you. I don't stalk I swear just was curious on that one because I do love dragons.
Extra money is always nice, especially if that helps you with supplies to do more awesome art! I wish I could help ya when it comes to javascript but alas I do not. Most of the animation and site stuff I've done, I use programs that help code it for me. NO SHAME on that trust me. It makes my job easier and faster.
I will certainly send ya a note for that. As far as suggestions go, maybe I'll have one or two after I see it.

I find canines and felines difficult to draw... but one day, yes, will try them. ^^
The problem with dragons is that they have no standard form. Everyone has a different idea of what they should look like - what shape of wings and how many? What kind of horns and where? What shape of body, face? Should it have scales, skin, spikes, feathers or fur?
To make versatile dragon linearts/bases that could appeal and be useful to multiple people, you'd have to include a lot of parts and options. Could just make a very generic body (smooth, no horns, hair or spikes etc), but that's boring, and people will keep asking "can you please add X parts for me" because they can't draw those bits in the same style as the existing lines/shading...
I probably won't have time to try it anytime soon. Still a neat idea though, so thank you!
