Here's your late Christmas gift. The sequel of Free dragon poses
Same as before. Sketches you can use as pose-inspiration, for any project. It would just be polite if you give credit.
Again based on an old 3D model I made. Some proportions are a bit crappy, you might wanna fix them...

Let me know which creature you want next, and any poses/perspectives you'd find helpful.
Probably will be griffon, since I've already modelled one, but I can always make something else.

Yes, definitely a Griffon! Please.
Of course, different creature, different poses. Horse bodies have their own and unique lines and form, and gracefulness. A griffon would probably be prone to more active, predatory poses.

Yes, I find those difficult as well... sadly that includes 3D modelling them too. x) Their anatomy is so different to horses etc, I need to study them a bit first. Will try eventually!
In the meantime, you could keep practicing and studying their proportions too, and later you'll be able to "use" pose ideas much more effectively. I mean flexibly adding details, fur, shading and making edits. It's more fun to draw a creature if you understand the body shapes, rather than just copying a sketched pose and hoping the art ends up looking realistic.
