Description Practice in Photohop CS4, trying to get a / Frank Miller feel, from a photo of ΓΌber gorgeous Tabrett Bethell, who plays Cara in Legend of the Seeker.

I'm happy with most of the outcome except for the lips :S

Photoshop CS4. It was supposed to b a quicky but it turned out take a whole day!!! I know, right?! :S

(I'd love to credit the original photographer but I'm kinda suspicious this is from a screencap)

I love this show... I think you and I are the only two people who watch it.

Nicely done.

WOW, thank you so much!!! I don't really know what to say other than thank you. U just sprang to my top 5 coolest ppl, lol.

Yeah, about the Seeker... i don't realy watch it :S

Nah, just kidding. I actually think it's a fun show. I've never really been a fan of the whole sword n sorcery thing, but I quite like the characters and the story. Oh yeah, n ladies too ^ ^. But I've seen on IMDB how lot of fans of the original books are pissed about how the show was adapted, and I'm sure they have valid reasons, but still, I think ppl should appreciate the fact that in the end it turned out a really cool and fun show. Or at least that they have something to badmouth n b*tch about, hehehe.

You're totally right. Hardcore book fans don't seem to like the show (which is hard for me to understand because I enjoy the series so much). I'm someone who started reading the books after seeing the show, so I totally see the value in the show bringing a whole new following to the books. I think people should try and appreciate the books and show separately.

Exactly! I haven't read the books (not much of a reader ) but, to be honest, I don't see the point of adapting something line by line. Still, I must confess to be thankfull to the ppl who take all that so much at heart. I guess we owe it to them that fantasy novels, super-hero comicbooks n graphic novel adaptations are taken alot more seriouly, these days. I still remeber when the comicbooks that were adapted to the silverscreen were just... sad :S

Anyways, I hope "Legend of the Seeker" keeps going strong cuz it's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine

Oh, and I do plan to do Kahlan. I have some stuff I wanna finish first, but she'll get her turn
