I like this! It's not as sharp as some of your planet pictures, but it's softer, and it's different. I think it fits in well with all the different shades of blue.

ironically, everyone loves the blue on this, but when i was creating it, my monitor profile got messed up so it was actually less saturated

I can understand the frustration... this isn't nearly up to the same level as some of your other space images. A shame; as you know, I generally like your work. Hopefully the next one will be an improvement, everyone has off-days.

Well, I wasn't trying to just say "this is crap"... you seem to have some confidence issues with your work, and you almost always say that what you do is rubbish. Then everyone here rallies around and tells you how silly you are, and how good it is, and to stop worrying.
Unfortunately, they also do that when something genuinely isn't that good, like this. I don't think that's terribly helpful in those cases, so, I thought I'd agree with you that this just isn't as good as some of your other work. Better to be honest with someone than to blow smoke up his arse trying to make him feel better at the cost of actually giving him some accurate feedback. It's just my opinion of course, and subjective, but this is much smaller, blander, less detailed and less sharp than most of your other recent work, and it doesn't work for me. There's a good underlying vision there though, and the colouring is fairly interesting and unique for this kind of image, and could have leant it an ethereal quality, but it just seems rushed and falls short.

haha, well i appreciate the honesty. i personally dislike almost all my work, i guess sometimes the creator can just see more flaws than other viewers? idk, oh well

no i think it pretty good. I would wish to see more happening. But I like the fractals. The planetary texture is nice and crisp as well. I think its a good job. Keep it up. dont put yourself down.

thanks man, still hate this image like the rest...the fractals seem low res and the composition is kinda awkward. i think my gfx card or PS is messed up too cuz this image is way more vibrant here on dA than it was in PS
