This is wonderful! Was it hard to get the CDs to stay in place? You'd think the water would keep washing away the sand around the base.

oh, it was actually very dense mud at the bottom of a very shallow lake.

The water lapping the discs is really nice.
I think the angle is what completes the piece, though. Somehow it makes the CD's appear much larger than they are, like sleek buildings of the future.

man and nature and their contrast when put side by side is beautiful. so is the reaction of the sunlight bending and breaking in the reflection of the cd's. great capture.

Y'know, whenever I see your new deviations, it makes me realize how your style has changed and grown- I don't know if you ever do this, but take a walk through your own gallery sometime, it's fascinating.
