I actually liked "Something to Tide You Over" - or maybe "They're Creeping Up on You!" - or maybe "The Crate"...

"Something to Tide You Over" is superb, as is "They're Creeping Up On You"; "The Crate" is obviously the movie's show-piece, and "Jordy Verrill" is comic relief, but I do love "Father's Day"--it's classic Warren/EC comics horror!

Leslie Nielsen is excellent in "Something to Tide You Over", "They're Creeping Up On You!" definitely captures a claustrophobic atmosphere, "The Crate" is an intense roller-coaster, "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" is a comedic Colour Out of Space, and "Father's Day" is classic old-style. But if any of them were a Warren/EC comic I think it would be "Something to Tide You Over"...
The bookend sequence is also wonderful, and features one of my favorite modern writers, Joe Hill (Stephen King's son), at the age of 9!

I enjoyed it very much! No, I did not notice those nails - very detailed!
I'm actually working on the script for EpitaphsΒ right now and I think we could stand to add a story or two...

Very good. Takes me back to the 1940s horror comics. Nice colorization.
