The reference sheet is finally here! To give you an idea of the timespan from creation to submission, I actually started this in early March... Of course, I have been caught up in other things, yadda yadda.This is by FAR the biggest submission I have ever created! Not a good thing of course, so I warn you, HUMONGOUS IMAGE!
This is just a general design update, I have improved anatomy and altered the horns, colours, markings and patterns mainly. Everything else is subtle and intentional!
Couple of things to point out... The name "Blaze" is a NICKNAME, not his real name! Of course, he prefers to be called Blaze rather than his real name... His real name actually translates into "Blaze", so nothing new there!

Oh of course, i should think so too. The power of flight is a awesome thing that's for sure, surely feels like a blessing to those that are born with it i'd imagine. Magnificent pair of wings you have too.

Revamp?! I guess you could say that! I am just documenting how the changes on a yearly basis, be it through design or character XD
And wings... I simply cannot get enough of them. To fly under your own power is a dream only a few get.
Re the flames, I was looking at iron filings burning, and they have a similar spark - and I also looked at thermite, which burns at extremely high temperatures.

i just adore your new style, the improvement and the way you write makes this ref magnificent!!
i love the new look aswell! such a nice change to see on him! i his markings are lovely! though.. its pretty dark on some places and that makes it difficult to see where they should be xD. not a bad thing ofcourse, the shading you did is oh so good mmm
blaze is an extraodinary caracter, some caracters who are called blaze look as ordinary red and yellow and so on, but you had the oppertunity to make the difference in that and you made him look even tastier than he ever was! his smirk in the headshot picture is definetly so him; it fits and whenever he smirks, you know you have a good guy at your side.
keep up the improvement darling, your art is getting greater and greater each new drawing that you create!
