THERE SHE IS. SO CLOSE YET SO FAR.
THANK YOU. I AM VERY PROUD OF THE BODY SHAPE, IT DID JUST WHAT I WANTED!! (her face not so much. It scares the people at work, tho that's more cause she's got solid colored eyes. And is a Gremlin).
SHE IS MORE ON THE SQUISHY SIDE, BUT SINCE THE SKELETON IS MADE OUT OF WIRE I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND SQUISHING TOO HARD

And is a Gremlin LOL idk why but the idea of Sid scaring your colleagues is hilarious x'D They need to give her a chance! Once she has her hair she'll look less like a gremlin I'm sure! And solid-coloured eyes are cute how dare they LOL

IT IS XDDDDD
I brought her to work after she got her eyeballs and set her up on top of my closet-thing. My coworker (the one I made the bunneh for) came to me later and said "they keep talking about your doll" "Is it cause of her eyeballs?" (one coworker had already mentioned this during lunch when I was working on her) "She's freaking them out" and we laughed xDDDDD

LOLOL Ohgoshhh x'DDDDD
I know Sid is the sweetest girl, but I bet your colleagues don't know this LOL Set her up to guard your belongings; no one would dare "borrow your things" unannounced again >D
(Better yet, put a little sign on her that says "I'm always watching, especially when you're not looking at me"; it's Halloween after all >D)

the thing about needle felting is that it takes FOREVER.
I suggest getting a stabby thing with 3 or 5 needles together. Mean's you'll have to be more careful, but it gets it done faster than just one or two at a time.
You're also not wrong with the quality of wool - it's very important.
As far as stability goes, if you're going to use pipe cleaners for an armature, wrap them in bunches of 3s or 4s (at least from my experience). Even then they can be kind of flimsy, but it also means the stability won't completely give out if the wire decides to break on you.
She looks decent though. I love her mouth.

I have the 3 and the 5 needle stabbers! I love them, especially when working with these bigger pieces xD No matter how much I stab this particular wool it just comes right off afterwards. (I haven't had this issue with any other wool I've used yet).
The tail is pipe cleaners, yes! The skeleton is from aluminum wire, and it seems pretty stable, but I went with pipe cleaners for the tail which seems to have been a miscalculation xD The original intention was for the tail to be a third "leg" and help her stand, which worked well at the beginning but now it's just bending where it meets her butt and she can't stand anymore (she's also really top heavy, which I know is contributing). I only used two wrapped around each other, next time I'll double it xD
Thank you!!

I have yet to actually pick up a multi-needle tool. I stab myself enough with a singular one. I'm going to be working on a Wyvern soon (It'll be felt with needle felting .....accents?) but hopefully it turns out alright
I made a doll with a similar tail that I gave to my dad. It wasn't particularly well made, but I had sewn up a tiny pouch of those beabie baby bead things and put in the tail to help give him weight to stand. he still does to this day, so maybe you can try that next time.
