ENCOUNTERS
Lump bravely ventures out into the jungles to find more swag for Nova!
-However, he manages to get lost very quickly in the thick foliage!
Lump is not the smartest of critters. He's barely, what, a foot away from Nova and he's already lost?!? All he wants is Oren ;n;
-Then he found some nice wildflowers! But then a pig ate them right in front of him, and he had to spend a bit longer looking for them.
Lump actually knows this pig. This pig is one of Nova's other companions D8 How dare you Patty Cake?!?
-But he came across a stash of gems buried beneath some mud! It took some digging, but he eventually got the them.
HE FOUND THE SHINIES HE WILL BRING THEM BACK NO MATTER WHAT THE DANGER.
-Finally, he found a nice pile of beads. Unfortunately, the beads were placed on a rock that was a bit taller than Lump, and he had to climb all the way up that 'mountain' to reach them!
Well, being a geriatric pug with a bad hip means any kinda rock is a "mountain"...even if it has a nice sloping side...
You will be rewarded with the items once you have responded to this depicting your companion navigating their way past the obstacles.
Did I ever mention that Lump doesn't actually WALK or STAND UP. No one knows if he can't stand, or if he just refuses to. He just scoots his little bottom along in the dirt like he's forever trying to free himself from dingleberries.
And because these are from Lump's POV I decided to keep them more whimsical and sketchy. xD

It's been back for a while, I just haven't had the energy to hop back in (I think I had burned myself out doing so much so often, tbh) so now I'm easing back into it xD BUT NOVA'S BACK.

O.O Ohhh I get what you mean, yeah. I burnt myself out for a while too, with the comic, so I guess the graphics card screw up is a good timing indeed lol plus getting into the Esk group made me eager to draw again too LOL

The Esk group gave me a breather in that it's relaxing and therapeutic to draw, after so much intense comic arts x'D I'll be posting some Esks again soon, to 'loosen' my muscles ;w;

Maybe relax your schedule a lil bit bb? I know too much is bad cause then you'll never finish, but...some wiggle room is good!! Then the pressure to do it like clockwork won't be on and you'll get some breath back!!

Lol. Are you really gonna tweak the basecoat that much?!? What I've seen with boucles is that every pon IS unique, even if they don't have ranges for their bases. The variety of...everything!! Makes it so. There are well over a 1,000 of them in existence, and each one is different! You do not need to stress yourself out so much over that, hun!! <3

Hahhaa that said, it's just that I have a thing for wanting to create critters that have striking looks.
If people can't look at a blob of barely recognizable shapes from far and go "oh I recognize that character! It's so-and-so!", then I'm not satisfied ;u;

My thing is more so the EASY TO REPLICATE than the striking. This is why I love Nova's design - he looks pretty, but he's SIMPLE and it doesn't make me cry to think about redrawing him a dozen times over xD (did I tell you he has over 2500 Diamonds?!? This is the most STUFF a character has ever gotten, and I've done it all MYSELF. I'm getting to your level here xD
ALSO speaking of designs, because Orengel was an event pon she got designed by one of the mods originally. Who has now left in the midst of ~drama~ (from what little I've gleaned, she typically CAUSED an asston of drama). And, needless to say, said mod has now demanded that any horses she designed must be redesigned. SO Oren is getting a facelift. Say hello to new Oren:
