Description
Katyusha is one of the few living members of the former Valorous Knights left. One of the youngest they ever had, she was initially a teenage member of the young adult group of heroes known as the "Young Guard," before that group was incorporated into the Valorous Knights as a last ditch effort by the Soviet regime to breathe life into the successors of the Red Guardians. She was a member for barely a year before the Berlin Wall Massacre, fall of the USSR, and the subsequent civil war resulted in the complete dissolution of the Valorous Knights. Unlike most members, Katyusha was a true believer in heroism, and continued to operate as an unsanctioned heroine in Russia. Her adventures led to her meeting and befriending Vlastny, and they became partners shortly afterwards. They eventually met up with Molotok and Snegurochka and proposed creating a new group of Russian heroes independent of Kremlin control, in memory of the original Bogatyri that had been led by the legendary war hero Mikula. Thus was formed the new Bogatyri, and this core group would grow and expand as they began to add members from across the Russian Motherland.
