An update of a different sort!

So for at least a couple years now (maybe longer) I have had a notion to update Thunder Girl again. The main reason is that I felt she needed to be "freshened up" a bit, and to that end a notion entered my mind to make her not just Greek-American, but also mixed heritage like Samantha. In this case, I made her parents Greek-American (father) and black (mother). Hence the recent polls around her name. However, I have been stuck on her design for a long time now, and it reached the point where I decided to outsource the character update, visually anyway, to another artist. In this case, my character design artist for the Thunder Woman handbook and bible, Bilcassonato . He has been great to work with, and this particular project was no exception! I am very happy with how she turned out, so I am very pleased to present the brand new Thunder Girl, Connie Benakis!
