Without even reading the information provided, I immediately understood what the artist was trying to portray. Well composed and detailed figure, designed to look both technical and fantasic. The dark, intense vaules of the figure contrast with the lighter, less detailed background.
If anything, I would had the War Steam Stallion take a much more energenic pose. The pose on the current work is fine, but to create a sense of rage, it should be in a position that communicate that.
However, I find the overall work to be enjoyable.

I especially like how the smoke is spewing out of the front hooves, the spiky mane, and how the increasing heat has gotten the metal of the machine all red :]

Did you see the first Lord of the Rings movie? I loved the sound design for the Balrog. It was like a t-Rex and a jet engine, pretty bad ass! I think this piece has similar qualities
