I made this a while back. Like maybe 1 or 2 months ago. I was trying to steer clear of it looking like Naruto style, but I'm not sure if I passed.I was inspired by *Kamden 's
It came to mind when I was stuck on a Body Image assignment my Gym teacher gave me for missing a few classes(Bad me. xD). Drawing something wasn't what I was suppose to do, but did anyways. xDDD
I also have my classmate (Allana? I think that's it. Stupid memory.) from English class to thank for the writing, since my handwriting is horrid. -w-;;
So I know right now that I will never, ever colour this. As I feel it is already awesome. xD
But anyone can feel free to colour this if they want. As long as they credit me and show me the result.
So no reference used, no brushes or texture. Just pencil and paper. Yey, I don't have to credit anybody!
(If I get sued by the pencil company, then I'm screwed.)

The first thing I want to say it that this drawing is pure excellence.
I'll begin by pointing out a few small things that could be adjusted (I won't say improved, for there's no real rules with art). The main thing I notice is a certain thing with the hair. Notice hair the hair goes over the eye, and yet the eye is completely visible, still? Even with the finest of hair, the sight of the eye would be dimmed to some extent, if not completely. The same goes with where the hair covers the shoulders.
Another subtle thing; Her shoulders appear perfectly straight, while shoulders naturally slope downwards a bit. Though, with how the arm is up, that shoulder appears correct, but the other shoulder should probably slope downwards a little. That's how I see in my perspective, anyway.
Now, some great things to mention about this.
First, despite what I said above, the hair is drawn beautifully. Many artists struggle with hair, including me. On the drawing, it appears effortless and clean.
As for the folds in the clothing, I still haven't gotten the hang of that. That, in my opinion, is the hardest thing when drawing realistically.
I also admire her pose, it's shy and modest, and yet somehow confident in what the strip says.
Your drawing is overall wonderful, and beyond my own capabilities. Very, very well done.

Well you should because you are! And I am so happy with the critique.
Some stuff, I did on purpose, like the eye because I am very horrible at drawing even eyes, I was so proud of how it came out that I kept it. xD
And yes, the shoulders do make the model seem a bit boxy, but I use my shoulders as a bit of a reference, which indeed are very straight-edged.
...So yup! Those are my excuses!
