I'm aware that it's quite detailed, but that's mostly because I like to draw semi-realistically instead of in a Sugi-esque style.
I last drew this one about a year ago, and my style was much more cartoony then- ninetalesnine.deviantart.com/a… . In that drawing the design doesn't seem as complicated.
