Species: Earth pony.

Bio: During a time before Ponyville's founding, Aurora Mysteria was an ordinary earth pony living in Eclipsion, a small town outside of Equestria. Her parents though, were far from ordinary. With her mother being a gypsy and her father being a conjurer, Mysty's parents sought one thing and one thing only: wealth and power. Her father, Cinder Spellbind, had the potential to rid of their town of its tyranny. But, he repeated history and exploited the villagers out of their bits and gems along with her mother.

Throughout her childhood, Mysteria found herself unable to maintain "real" friendships, due to the reputation her parents had. Everypony feared that they would do something wrong and be punished for it. The only ponies who weren't afraid were Mysty's teachers. However, on one fateful day, when she wishes upon a shooting star to be granted proper respect and to be loved, as well as "to get stronger", there was a magical mishap. A spell that was supposed to banish ponies into another dimension backfired and hit the seventeen-year-old Mysteria.

The magic sent her to Tartarus, where all she saw were glowing red eyes. It claimed to grant what she wanted. Mysty accepted and was granted enough power to cast magic, almost like how a unicorn would. When she returned, though, the first thing she does is lash out her anguish upon the world. However, due to the overuse of her power, Mysty was on the brink of imploding. This meant that Eclipsion would go down along with her.

Realizing what they have done, and with their daughter on the fritz, Mysteria's parents properly casted their banishment spell to send her to Tartarus once more. The underworld itself was the only place her magic can stabilize. Mysty's aging might have slowed down, but the anger and sadness grew as the centuries went by. She was able to escape when Cerberus was distracted, but hid out in the Everfree Forest to practice her magic.

Mysty's first thought when she returned was to destroy Equestria so that it can be built from the ground up, thinking the ideologies in her village were the same elsewhere. But, thanks to some friends along the way, she came to find the good in modern society.

Personality: On the outside, Mysty displays a hard shell. She can be brash and aggressive, often jumping into the face of danger. However, if you get on her good side, she's actually a loyal and brave pony who even expresses some timidity.

Special Talent/Cutie Mark Meaning/Abilities: The moon on her cutie mark represents Mysty's "mysteriousness" and how the night is usually represented as darkness. The flames surrounding it represents her hot-headedness and her burning passion for others at the same time.

Upon being granted her magic, Mysty has various abilities. She's able to do basic unicorn spells, such as telekinesis and teleportation. However, she can't fly due to a spell like that being a massive magical strain. Mysty often uses fire to fight, sometimes shooting flames out of her hooves. Despite all of this power, she can't use all of her magic at once or else she faces a lot of fatigue and has a greater chance of passing out in battle. After all, since Mysteria isn't a unicorn, it takes a lot of concentration out of her to do anything with her power.

Fun Facts: She has a hobby of singing, but is not a fan of singing in front of others. She doesn't have stagefright, she just thinks other ponies will think she's more of a pansy.
