Okay, I will admit that this isn't ALWAYS the reason why MMD will crash on me, but a good 98% of the time I go back and look and realise I have joints that aren't attached properly.If the problem persists and you are absolutely sure the joints are not the reason: Check out this tutorial on the error finder bufffycat.deviantart.com/art/P… . Sometimes there are other things very wrong with a model, and this will show you where to look for them. I think it can be very difficult to understand at first, and may take some trial and error to understand what each thing means.
And there is one of the first versions of my Cardverse edit. Last edited 22/05/13....

On last model this helped me.. but now.. i checked everything and there is no joints or bones that are not connected.. i'm tilted xD

I don't have uneeded joints or bones OR physics I do not understand my model is alright I even watched tutorials on Youtube on how to fix this! Please help.

I didn't see it the fist time, it took me 20 minutes to find it and i found 1 bone wasn't attached
Scroll throw bones and u will find it

I have one weird problem, when I load the model I have, that does not have any random joints or any joints missing a connecting point. Is there a problem with something else other than what you have said?

Well, just saying the one I'm having a hard time with is a downloaded model, but it seems to work for others but not for me.

(I did a fem America edit buffers but...Well MMD does not give me the message that says mmd stopped working so when i load her up MMD just closes itself. it does not give me an error message or anything it just plain exits itself even when i took off all the physics and joins it just closes itself,oh yeah buffers maybe you can help me a bit just give me your discord name so i can friend you and possibly ask ya ta help me with the issue,but also because i wanna talk with ya we have not talked in a long while so sorry about that.

I'm having a similar issue, but mine doesn't show me a message, it shows me a model note and then the program just stops without giving a reason...
I've spent 2 days trying to add hair to this model without it breaking and i finally did it! I go to test it and......

Should I delete ALL joints, or only these ones, which are "flying"?

Haha just the ones that are "flying" need to be changed or deleted. Those ones that are missing one or both physics to connect to.

I would try checking the error finder (Try the link in the description to the tutorial). If it doesn't work I'd be willing to take a look if you'd like.

....NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE...........please?
This model has a TUN of joints, physics, and bones. However, the model kind of needs them. I don't understand why MMD is crashing on me with this model. Don't worry about the big wing like physics, bones, or joints because that is there for a reason. That is normal for the Shinki model. But, what isn't normal is MMD crashing on me....
If you do decide to help me, I can send you the model in a message....
